Steven van Lummel

For the Kama City Residency Biennale Steven van Lummel will create a series of woodblock prints combining his contemporary approach to illustration and traditional woodblock printing techniques.

Over the last decade, his work ranges from large social art works to murals and postcard illustrations. He is founder of PIP Den Haag (in The Hague), one of the foremost cultural platforms for art, music, dance and theatre in the Netherlands (based in the industrial heritage site of Bink36). His work has been exhibited internationally.
